Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra, born in Mayavaram, Tamilnadu and had his education and joined his family business of Manufacturing and marketing Diamond Jewellery. Shifted the base to Chennai with his Eleder Brother Goutham Chand Bothra in 2000, Ventured into Diamond Jewellery business in a big way. Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra is the Director of Whitfire Diamond private Limited, a leading player in Diamond Jewllery Business in India with Manufacturing units at various centres in India. Whitefire is a Leading Diamond Jewellery Brand for over 30 years and Rtn. Mahaveer is also Proprietor of Gee Beers Trading Corporation. Besides Rotary, Rtn.Mahaver Bothra is also member and office bearer of many Community, Business and trade organizations and was the President of Rajasthan Youth Association. He has attended over 100 International and National Diamond Fairs and took active part in all events.
Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra started his Rotary Journey as a Rotarctor in Rotarct Club of AVC College, Mayavaram, then with Rotary Club of Mayavaram in 1997 and joined Rotary Club of Madras T Nagar in 2001. A vivid traveler to all over the world in expanding his business, Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra established Brand Whitefire Diamonds.
Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra has been an active member all through contributing to the Programs and Projects of R C Madras T Nagar and became the President of the club in Light Up Year 2014- 15 and won Platinum Trophy from the District for over all performance and was declared one of the Best Presidents of the year. As President of Madras T Nagar, Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra introduced many mega Programs and welfare projects for the Club.
With great success as President of Madras T Nagar, Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra has been a District Officer decorating many Key positions for all Governors since 2014- 15. He was President of Light Up Presidents Alumni, District Chair for various Programs, District Conference Chair- Nakshatras, Chairman of PETS, District Membership Chair, and became the Unopposed and Unanimously elected District Governor for Rotary District 3233 in the year 2024 -25.
Rtn.Mahaveer Bothra has been decorated with many Awards in Rotary and by Business Forums which includes “Most Valuable Rotarian of the District Award ‘consecutively for two years, Excellence in Service to humanity by Rotary Club of Madras T Nagar for a project as Chairman of Rotary Feeds during Covid Pandemic invoving distribution of Food and groceries for over 1 lac families in Chennai and outside.
Rtn. Mahaveer Bothra is married to Jayashree Bothra and both are Major Donors to Rotary Foundation. The Bothras have two Daughters, Naveetha and Shilpa, who are also part of the Business in the family. Naveetha is married and Shilpa is a Dental Professional with additional degrees on Diamond and Gems Technology.
